Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart, and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue ... do not now seek the answers which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them ... and the point is to live everything ... live the questions now ... perhaps you will then, without noticing it, live along into the answers.

~ Rainer Maria Rilke

I am loving these "Quotes of the Day", especially this one. I think I'll write it out and frame it.

It's never so much about the destination as it is about the journey.
My first wife described the process as a garden and liked to say "life is a garden, dig it!"
As I've grown I've learned that the actual answers aren't so important as puzzeling out the questions. For me that's the real joy. Knowing and having are nice but it's the quest it self, there's the fun.

That is such a wise and beautiful quote! Thank you for sharing it- it was just what I needed to hear.

Rilke always knows just how to distill wisdom into the most amazingly artful words.
